This past weekend, I had the opportunity to present on change leadership at the Eagles Leadership Initiative in Washington, DC. This one-week program is a tremendous partnership between the American Bible Society and the Church of God to develop young leaders.
Organizational change most certainly requires the support of top leadership. However, the beginnings of change do not always start at the top. Change begins with problem-solvers, not position-holders. In fact, there are two unique values that I believe lower-level leaders have to offer senior leaders desiring significant change.
I have condensed the presentation slides to provide an overview of the talk. While it is not complete, I believe the basic principles are clear. I will likely provide more details in writing soon.
